Let’s begin with one of the largest outdoor markets in the area: Moreland Flea Market. From April through December, the Atlanta traditional open-air market is open every Saturday and sunday.
Moreland, located in the historic Old Fourth Ward is well-known for its wide range of used goods. It is located only one mile from Moreland, Georgia. This makes it a great central location.
It is the ideal place to look for vintage clothes and furniture. You might even find antiques or vintage art if you have good eyes.
Sweeties Flea Market
Another must-visit sizeable outdoor market is Sweeties Flea Market which is located in Atlanta itself. Located at 2855 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30318, it is the home of several vendors and offers a variety of used and new merchandise. This market is a great place to spend a weekend. Founded in 1988, the market is the largest flea market in the state. With more than a million people passing through the market each year, it’s easy to see why it’s a tourist attraction. It makes perfect sense that the market sells unique souvenirs and trinkets among other goods and antiques.
The Sweeties flea markets open at 8 AM every Saturday, but it is advisable to arrive earlier as the parking lot fills up quickly. The parking is free but it is a long walk to the flea market.
La Vaquita Flea Market
Next, let’s visit the flea market that’s breaking through the stereotypes. La Vaquita Flea Market proves that flea markets can offer interesting and unique items that are not available anywhere else.
La Vaquita Flea Market is Georgia’s largest flea market. It has more than five hundred vendors from around the globe and over seven hundred selling areas. It is also the oldest operating flea market in Georgia.
The market offers everything you need, including new and used items, seasonal produce, handmade jewelry, and freshly made food. You will find different sections of the market with different sellers. Each section also has its own group of things and sellers. So make sure to bring walking shoes so you can explore all.
Open every Sunday, 9 AM to 3 pm throughout the year. The market is located in close proximity to Atlanta and the Jefferson Flea Mart, which we will discuss later.

It also has seven cabins and four buildings. There are sixty-yard sale tables underneath the majestic oak trees. If I’m being honest, it was the amazing food court that made me add this fleamarket to my wish list.
Visitors can begin their day with a full-course breakfast starting at 7 AM, and then enjoy a delicious lunch menu. The vast array of fresh pastries, breads, and pork rinds is sure to satisfy any cravings. The snack section has a variety of fresh fruit cups, funnel cakes, snow cones and snow cones that will delight any foodie. It is a great place to get to know the local culture and mix with the people. Located in Atlanta, 400 Flea Market LLC is very popular for its culture and its bargains.
There are many items to choose from, so there is something for everyone. The market has everything you need, from antiques and furniture to kitchenware to plants. You can find multiple parking options and it is easy to access.
Jefferson Flea Market
Calling my fellow bargain lovers, this is the market you do not want to miss. The Jefferson Flea Market is a little outside of Atlanta and offers bargains galore.
This is where you should shop for fashion essentials. The market’s designer clothes and accessories are affordable, so you don’t have to spend a lot.
Open on a Thursday and Friday from 11 AM to 6 PM for inside stalls and Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 6: 30 PM for both inside and outside stalls; you can check out the market on the first day and make a list of everything you want then come back the next day to actually shop.

Open since the 1980’s the market may have grown in popularity but somehow maintains its local, family-run appeal. The Hunter family owns the market, which is located on the grounds of the flea market. Two family members are available to assist during open season.

If you are willing to make the ninety-minute drive down interstate 75, it’s worth visiting the I-75 Flea Market. If you’re looking for antique and vintage items to decorate your home, this flea market is a great place to start.
The Georgia Peach is a highly frequented location since it sits on the busy I-75. This particular flea market has been in business since 1959.
Vendors offer stunning, gently-used and new items. It’s a great place to shop, but it’s also a wonderful place to just walk around and enjoy the traditional flea market atmosphere.

Businesses or vendors looking to advertise their wares will need to pay $10 a month or $40 for six months. It’s a small price to pay for local exposure.

You might find fishing gear or home decor if your eyes are open to the stalls. Sometimes, you can even find pet supplies and pets at the market!
The market located on 11661 Commerce Rd, Athens, GA 30607, is the perfect place to find vintage sunglasses and even a stereo. Take the trip to discover what treasures you might find.
