Things to do in hilton head with kids

Adventure Cove Mini Golf & Arcade

We’ve had several miniature golf courses at Hilton Head but I really liked Adventure Cove as it has 2 courses – Paradise Falls and Lost Lagoon. You’ll find waterfalls all around the city and fun holes, especially in areas where you have to climb up some steps. My kids loved the holes in the small caves at the Paradise Falls Golf Course. It has a club for everyone and this is an ideal home for families and friends. Once golf has ended you must buy lots of tokens for your arcade. It has plenty of fun, such as my favourite – skeeball! I might have sneakily gathered some money to use in my children.

Harbor Town

Harbor Town is a small, little neighborhood in Sea Pines, the southern most point on the island and a perfect place to shop, enjoy ice creams and do water trips or try out parasailing. Fishing charter boats take guests to the water to find the best chance and guests can view the beautiful boats anchored in the harbour. There are several other sites in this region that have been visited by tourists including the famous lighthouse with white and red stripes. Sea Pine is home to several events and a shaded playground as well as public restrooms and a parking lot crowded during the busy seasons.

SUP Tour

I tried to get a standupboard last summer. The boards are bigger in shoulder width as well as longer than surfboards. Use a paddle for movement on or off. I enjoy walking my feet into a pool and taking a deep breath – and a lot of water a day. My SUP Tour with One HHI has been fantastic. Our guides knew all about our local stream and its inhabitants and the historical places where we sailed and the island itself. We were able to paddle across Broad Creek, a salt marsh where there were no wakes and we also had calm water. The whale was seen.

Free family entertainment

Shannon Taylor Summer Family Show is an incredibly popular show due to his fun and singalong style. Shannon plays at Shelter Cove Harbour several weekends throughout the summer at 8:00 am and 9:00 pm. We finished half of the performance before being soaked in an unexpected thunderstorm. But his personality made the whole experience great! The other popular family entertainment program is the Gregg Russell Summer concert series on Harbor Town, Sea Pines, and Liberty Oak from 8:30 – 9 p.m. Mondays to Fridays in the summer months.

Eat & Play

It seemed as if children were being looked at everywhere. Our experience with eating was particularly positive for us. We didnt really go to any restaurants but all restaurants had crayons and a coloring page for the children. Two places – fishingcamp and Giuseppi Pizza – have played for the children. The savings came by visiting restaurants during the Happy Hour and seeing the weekly specials. Coastal Discovery Museum

I visited the Discovery Centre of the Coast after our trip and ideally recommend it to be visited first since it’s possible to discover all about the environment of the island. The beautiful path takes you into the adjacent marsh lined with oaks and mosses.

I wanted to do their Vanishing Islands tour and see dolphins. Island Explorer is Hilton Head’s earliest dolphin tours and its Vanishing island tours are popular because they are so unique and exciting.
