Members can visit the Arboretum for free, but you’ll need to purchase tickets ahead of time.
The Dallas Arboretum is also known for its autumn events. From September 17 to October 31, 2022, the Arboretum will feature the largest fall flower festival in the country, Dallas Blooms. Thousands of azaleas, hundreds of Japanese cherry trees, and large peacock topiaries will bloom, making the grounds a sea of color. A visit to the Arboretum is guaranteed to make your spring break a memorable one.
Burleson zoo
Whether your family is looking for a new adventure or just a place to escape to get away from the city for a day, Burleson Zoo is sure to impress. The zoo’s 105 acres of land is home to 425 species of animals from around the world. The zoo’s Wilds of Africa exhibit was voted America’s best African exhibit by The Zoo Book. If you are in the mood for an outdoor hike, check out the Cotton Belt Trail, a two-and-a-half mile loop along the South Bosque River.
